TourTools System Requirements

General

TourTools is built on FileMaker technology and system requirements are closely linked to those of the FileMaker software itself. Specifications are subject to change as Claris, Inc. continues to evolve and test their products. TourTools v5 supports FileMaker 17 or newer.

Please note that if you do not have IT staff, we are happy to review your computers to confirm if they are compatible with TourTools and/or FileMaker products. Otherwise, consult your IT specialists if you are unsure. The basic system requirements for running FileMaker 19 and TourTools v5 are below.

Server

RECOMMENDED HARDWARE

• 4-Core CPU
• 8 GB RAM
• 500+ GB or more hard drive, SSD recommended (250 GB if no other software will be installed)
• Ethernet only
  

SUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEMS*

• Windows Server 2016 or newer
  

*Windows Server Datacenter is compatible with FileMaker Server 19, but has not been fully tested; TourTools does not support Apple servers.

• 8+ GB RAM
• Graphics device with minimum 1600 × 900 resolution (maximum 1920 × 1080)
