Creating an eBlast to Tour Vendors and/or Passengers
The eBlast process in the Tours Module functions a bit differently than it does in the Client and Vendor Modules. The eBlast button is not on the List View, it’s on the Detail View in Tours. The reason for this is that the eBlast is specific to one Tour only. When you click the eBlast button, you will see a drop down menu with additional options; you can send an eBlast to (1) All Tour Pax, (2) All Tour Vendors, or (3) Just Tour Hotel Vendors
If you select Tour PAX, the eBlast process will be similar to what you are familiar with in the Client Module. You will be asked to select or create a Client Template, then presented with the individual emails that are about to be sent so that you can adjust as needed, then click Send eBlast to launch the eBlast. The emails will be logged in the related Client records and one entry will be made in the Tour record on the Email Log tab, indicating that an All PAX eBlast was sent on that date with content and details specified.
If you select Tour Vendors, the eBlast process will be similar to what you are familiar with in the Vendor Module. You will be asked to select the contact type (e.g. – Billing, Onsite, etc.), next to select or create a Vendor Template, then presented with the individual emails that are about to be sent so that you can adjust as needed. The final step is to click Send eBlast to launch the eBlast. The emails will be logged in the related Vendor/Operations records and one entry will be made in the Tour record on the Email Log tab, indicating that an All Vendors eBlast was sent on that date with content and details specified.
If you select Tour Hotels, the eBlast process will be the same as above but only the hotel Vendors will be included.
