The Key Metrics, Charts & KPIs section of the dashboard is new in TourTools v5 and is located at the bottom of the Dashboard. Some of the charts and metrics available here can be shown for a specific date range by using the start/end date selectors (or the presets, like LAST MONTH, THIS YEAR, etc.); these items are marked with an asterisk. The various charts and metrics are visible/available based on log in permissions – some are only accessible to those logged in as Owner or Manager (items related to profit and sales primarily). If you are not interested in key metrics, this section can be disabled in User Settings and replaced with System Module buttons, which may be more useful and allow quicker access. Keep in mind that System Modules are accessible only to the Manager and the Owner logins.
The KPIs along the top of the section display key figures drawn from the data in your system. The far right section provides quick access to TourTools Support resources. The drop downs at the bottom provide access to charts that are created by data drawn from your system. These charts can be printed or emailed. You can have as many charts as you like open at the same time for analysis. Click on the REFRESH DATA button to update the data with recent activity (NOTE: the refresh process can take up to 2 minutes).
You can have multiple charts open at a time and each one offers the option to Save as PDF or to Email
