ARIN PRESTON

President / Sales / Project Manager

Arin has been a FileMaker developer since 1995. She has a B.S. in Information Technology with concentrations in web development and project management and an MBA in data analytics. She manages sales, client onboarding, and project management for TourTools.

She’s a U.S. Navy veteran, having served one tour during the Desert Storm Era as a Weapons Tech in Guam, M.I., San Diego CA, and Virginia Beach VA. After leaving the military at 22, she attended travel school and spent 3 years as a travel specialist for several agencies and scuba diving resorts in the Caymans and Honduras before going back to college to pursue a career in Information Technology.

Outside of work, Arin enjoys playing guitar and spending time with her dogs Molly, Oliver, Echo, and Tucker.

Cody Becker

VP of Operations / Senior FileMaker Developer

Cody brings a wealth of experience to the team, having delved into FileMaker development 14 years ago. Certified as a FileMaker Developer, he has spent the past 10 years crafting innovative solutions to many clients. His skillset extends beyond FileMaker, with proficiency in Python and SQL, making him a well-rounded developer. Outside of work, Cody enjoys exploring the world with his wife and children, having traveled to Colombia, Italy, and across North America.

Lynne Stolk

VP of Client Services

Lynne serves as lead trainer for TourTools and provides post deployment support for our clients. With more than 30 years in the group travel industry, Lynne served as Vice President of Operations for a large Grand Rapids, Michigan based European tour operator, and became an end-user of TourTools while working in offices in Houston, Texas; and Columbus, Ohio. During that time, Lynne was involved in the selection, installation and implementation of several reservation and network systems; and spent a great deal of time on staff training, troubleshooting and problem solving.

For 10 years, Lynne worked in technical support and training for TourTech Systems, Inc. This combination of travel industry experience and technical knowledge brings a unique perspective to her work with TourTools clients.

Not surprisingly, Lynne has traveled extensively in the US and abroad. Her favorite destinations are those with historical significance, and – being a huge fan of Frank Lloyd Wright – she loves to visit sites designed by the famed architect.

William Edmunds

Senior Web Developer

Born in London, England – William has been involved in software development for over a decade and is a graduate of the University of Chester. He runs a local football team and is interested in traveling Europe and learning languages.

William’s in-depth knowledge of secure & high-performance software development brings many ideas to clients of DataVast Technologies. His keen interest in the latest technologies helps to drive the TourTools product forward with state-of-the-art solutions.

Mike Spegel

Senior FileMaker Developer

Mike has over 20 years of experience in FileMaker and IT and prides himself on being detail oriented and a creative problem solver. With his skills, he is always ready and willing to help our clients. He also has a background in PHP, JavaScript, and database management.

Michael van Kranenburg

FileMaker Developer / QuickBooks Specialist

Michael brings a blend of real-world experience and technical expertise to the team. He began using FileMaker in 2016 to develop a tour management solution for a rock band, sparking his passion for the platform. Now a certified FileMaker 19 pro since 2020, he leverages his understanding of business needs to help clients automate workflows and streamline operations. Outside of work, Michael finds joy in drumming, and gardening.

Stefano Di Domenico

FileMaker & Web Developer

Stefano brings 22 years of expertise in the IT industry, specializing in the development of FileMaker applications and the implementation of cloud and on-premise environments to boost efficiency and productivity. As an ISO 27001 certified Lead Auditor, he advocates for a secure-by-design approach in all development and implementation processes. Speaking multiple languages including English, French, Spanish, and Indonesian, he can seamlessly communicate in any professional international setting.

Ian Kamau

FileMaker Developer

Ian is an experienced FileMaker Developer with over four years of expertise in designing and developing custom applications using FileMaker Pro. He is skilled in scripting, database design, and seamless integration with third-party tools. With a Bachelors degree in Computer Technology, he is passionate about creating intuitive, efficient, and scalable solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of businesses and organizations.

Shardae Douglas

FileMaker & Web Developer

Shardae Douglas is a Los Angeles-based Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to solve complex problems – and make life a little easier for everyone along the way. With over eight years of experience, she’s skilled in developing innovative web and software solutions. Shardae holds an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Santa Monica College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with a minor in Data Science from Arizona State University.

Originally from Texas, Shardae appreciates the simple things in life. When she’s not coding, you can find her developing games, playing the violin, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Sydney Shackelford

Senior FileMaker Developer

Sydney has vast experience solving business problems for both small and medium-sized businesses. As a certified FileMaker developer, her philosophy is that she is not just writing software, she is writing solutions to streamline processes and solve complex business problems.

She has built solutions in a range of languages – including dBase, filePro, Perl, PHP, Javascript, and eventually – FileMaker as it matured into a fully relational database after version 7. She applies her ever-expanding knowledge and experience with EDI, API integrations, and Client Expectations with FileMaker.

Outside of work, she has performed off (off) Broadway in NYC in several plays, served on advisory panels to advocate healthcare for marginalized groups and helping to build community support for disenfranchised people. She is a Doctor Who fan who enjoys cooking, quality time with her wife, and spending time with family and friends.

Chris Peterson

Senior FileMaker Developer

Chris has been crafting up solutions for clients for nearly 30 years. He first encountered FileMaker Pro in 1989! He’s dreamed up umpteen different business ideas and has written a lot of business plans to go with them that now rest in his idea junkyard. He is the father to six grown children, a step-father to two more, and he’s a grandfather! He tries to play the guitar and is working on forming his first band in his spare time. He loves tacos and donuts, but is somewhat determined to not eat too much of either.
