Unfortunately, scammers are using our name and logo to deceive people in the travel industry. We were alerted about this by a travel professional in Australia yesterday.
This phishing scam appears to offer rebates on tours and travel and uses the domain www.tourtools-travel.com (we have taken down others, they keep propping up new domains) alongside the WHATSAPP application to connect with potential victims (see screenshots below).
TourTools is a software company and we do not sell travel or offer rebates. Please be careful and do not provide any personal or financial information to anyone claiming to be from our company offering travel rebates.
This has been reported and is being investigated in hopes we can shut down the fake domain and WhatsApp account they are using and prevent this from happening to others in our industry.
